Today I awoke with a compulsion to clear out anything that has outgrown its usefulness, fulfilled its purpose, or feels attached to a part of the past that I declare complete. I have been in a major transition for awhile, during which I felt my energies and the energies coming in to be rearranging, awaiting signals from my consciousness, if you will. Today I feel that my intentions have become clear and solid enough for the energies to be sweeping me along. It’s exciting! I’m enjoying this long void, as it is here at the perfect time for my process.

The aspect of Moon conjunct Jupiter early this morning is generous, optimistic and creates an atmosphere that nurtures family relationships. Participate in activities that bring the family together and show kindness to those who are less fortunate.

VOID most of the day – clear away clutter, get rid of papers that have accumulated and get your desk clear for a productive afternoon.

When the Moon is void (between signs), we are less emotionally attached to our ‘stuff’, and it is easier to see what is useful and should be kept, and what needs to be thrown out.

However, since the solar eclipse is in effect – wait a few days before initiating constructive changes – until the air clears and new information comes to light. The energy of the solar eclipse can be confusing and it may take a day or two until the cosmic air clears.

Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) – relationships are changing and you are connecting and communicating in a different way in both your personal and professional life. As always, your rational handling of relationship issues is your trump card as family, work and partnerships transform.

Evening is congenial and relaxed – make a date tonight to put on party shoes and go out to dinner – dancing, or just getting together with friends for social event.

Venus Retrograde May 15

Moon in Pisces

Venus Retrograde this morning: 10.33am Eastern, 7.33am Pacific

Once every two years the planet of love goes into retrograde motion.

Venus has power over love, beauty and sociability - and it is said to rule over everything sweet, like candy, pastry and sugary desserts.

Venus also has rulership over money – not big abundance (that is in the realm of Jupiter) not obscene wealth (that belongs to Pluto)  - but over the discretionary spending that makes life sweet.

During the retrograde we feel this as restriction, and tend to be less generous – but it is important to realize this is an inner constraint, not actual poverty.

Venus is also the authority on values – and that is one of the most difficult things we have to learn in this lifetime.
